Testing Accommodations

• In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), NBCOT provides reasonable and appropriate testing accommodations (TA) for exam applicants with documented disabilities, as defined by the ADA, who are eligible to take the OTR® or COTA® exam.

  Read the online TA handbook. This provides all instructions.

  2. Review the list of preapproved personal items.

  There are standard items that do not require a TA request and review. Check this list before submitting your TA request.
